Zainabu, affectionately known as Zai, studied at Soka University of America in Mission Viejo and California State University, Los Angeles. Ambitious and inspired, she went on to work at the Los Angeles Business Journal for many years, helping to circulate features such as Who's Who in Real Estate, the top Commercial and Residential Brokerage Firms in Los Angeles and the Wealthiest Angelenos. Her experience has exposed her to the bounty of movers and shakers driving LA's economy.
